Special Projects

Each year we run a Walkathon and the Butch Family Dog show.
Our fundraising is partly by the raffles we sell and partly by special projects.  The profits go back to the community in many forms.

Meeting Dates :
2nd and 4th Mondays of each month, 6.30pm.  Hospital Library 2nd Monday (works meeting) with no meal;  Tokoroa Cosmopolitan Club, Balmoral Drive 4th Monday with a meal (Dinner Meeting).  Book a meal through Joy Morgan, 07-886-7733 before 08.30am on the Monday morning of the meeting.
 
Walkathon
 Our "Charity Walk"  date for 2008 will be on 12 October. Entry fee of $10 will include a sausage sizzle at the end.  Spot prizes and raffles.

9.00 am registration at the Tokoroa Fire Station.
9.30 am start, Entry $10.00
Walk 5 kms - same course as last year (We hope to run a separate course for the 10km).
Proceeds are to be donated to Westpac Helicopter Rescue Service .  

(In the past proceeds have been donated to Tokoroa Community Hospice Trust, Camp Quality, and the Tokoroa Fire Brigade).

Just Completed Project

Our petrol voucher raffle was drawn in July.

Dog Show

We run the Butch Family dog show at the A&P show-grounds each year.  See the next page.
