Special Projects
Each year we run a Walkathon and the Butch Family Dog show.
Our fundraising is partly by the raffles we sell and partly by special
projects. The
profits go back
to the community in many forms.
- Meeting Dates :
- 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month, 6.30pm. Hospital Library
2nd Monday with no meal, Tokoroa Cosmopolitan Club,
Balmoral Drive 4th Monday with a meal. 2nd Monday is a works meeting, 4th
Monday is a dinner meeting. Book a meal through Joy Morgan, 07-886-7733 before
08.30am on the Monday morning of the meeting.
- Walkathon

Our "Charity Walk"
will be next held on Sunday 4th November 2007. Entry fee
will include a sausage sizzle at the end. Spot prizes and
raffles. Further details will follow or can be obtained
from the organiser Wendy Clear -
Walk Organiser
9.00 am registration at the Tokoroa Fire Station.
9.30 am start, Entry $8.00
Walk 5 kms - new course from last year (Or you can walk the course
twice tor 10km).
Proceeds are to be donated to Tokoroa Victim Support & the Tokoroa
Fire Brigade .
(In the past proceeds have
been donated to Tokoroa Community Hospice Trust, Camp Quality, and the
Tokoroa Fire Brigade).
Just Completed Project
Our recent fashion parade at the Tokoroa Cosmopolitan Club - 16th
October, 2007 at 7.30pm proved very successful and raised around $1200 for
local charities.
Dog Show
- We run the Butch Family dog show at the A&P show-grounds each year.
